About Me...
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my blog! My name is Linda Green and I am currently studying Social Science and Psychology at The University of Maryland University College. I recently took a behavioral science course on domestic violence, and I was struck by the devastating violence that women experience in the United States and throughout the world. I decided to create this blog in hopes that others might realize the scope of this problem and be motivated to act. Please take your time and read over the information I have presented, and feel free to leave a comment if you find anything that inspires you. Some of the photos and videos that I have presented are graphic in nature and illustrate the abuse that women face and live with daily. Although they are disturbing, it is important to educate people about the reality of this tragic problem.
"Love should never hurt. It shouldn’t compromise our principles. When it becomes war, then it is not love. Many people feel that they have to fight for love or they won’t get love, but love is not like that. It’s an inventory of our will and desires as they are matched against someone else’s will and desires."
